Junior Year 2006 (Current): Starting setter San Diego Volleyball Club. I was recruited by virtually every top area volleyball club.
- One coach called my high school coach and asked if he could come to watch me at my high school volleyball practice. My coach granted permission and the coach stayed the full two hours to watch me, then came to my game the next night.
- Another coach, unknown to me at the time, was the referee at a two day volleyball tournament. After our semi-final game he approached me and said that he had watched me set all day and wanted me to come to his 17-1 team and be his setter.
- Other club coaches came to high school volleyball matches, and to our CIF play-offs, to watch me play, then would talk with me after the games were over.
Season underway.

Middle School - 8th grade: My first year of organized volleyball.
Even though I was voted best female athlete at my middle
school, I wasn't good enough to make a volleyball travel squad, so I played with a local team that practiced once a week. Played every meaningful minute of every game as a setter.
