Hey Kenz!
I enjoyed coming to many of your high school matches :)
I saw her hit a few balls that tells
me maybe she could be a hitter too. She is using her
peripheral vision better than ever. The other huge thing I
noticed is she is starting to develop the ability to make
the players around her better by directing them. She
started to take control of her team in a positive manner.
She is headed in the right direction.
"Kenz has the ability to learn whether by being coached or
watching a player perform a certain skill. It is one of the
talents that will help her at the next level."
I look forward to playing more with you at the beach.

Hi Kenzie, I watched the video on
your web site and you looked so powerful. I hope we'll see
you play club volleyball next season and then high school in the
fall.
"Kenzie came to beach volleyball practice willing to learn
about the game and improve. She knew that beach volleyball
would help her indoor game and she put her full effort into
the training. Kenzie impressed us as being a very
physically powerful player who is at the same time agile and
quick. Her volleyball skills set her apart and so does
her ability to be an active team player who understands the
concept of team effort and cooperation."

Hey Kenzie,
"Kenzie is the hardest working player I have ever
coached. It has been a joy to watch her mature into a
smart, calculating player. She is always pushing herself to
improve, and is very coachable. Her desire to be better in
every game, and her competitive nature would make her an
asset to any collegiate team." Lara Ramey Solana Beach

To whom it may concern;
I have been coaching high school girls beach volleyball in
North County (San Diego area) for three years and recently
had the privilege of working with Kenzie during the 2006
California Beach Volleyball season. At our first practice it
was quite obvious the she possessed all the fundamentals
that are required to be a top notch sand player. She is
an excellent passer and a great setter in addition to being
a very good defensive specialist. I taught her the one
handed "poke" dink which is excellent for controlling the
direction of the ball, and the "waterfall" dink where you
let the ball slide down your open hand and land a foot or
two on the other side of the net. She mastered both of these
difficult shots during our very first three hour workout.
I also noticed how fast she was at getting to the ball when
her opponents tried to catch her off guard with an off speed
hit. Out of all the girls I have coached Kenzie is by far
the best when you combine strength with coordination and
speed.
In her very first tournament she and her partner earned a
well deserved third place in Ocean Beach, Ca. They again
notched another third place in the following tournament at
the same venue the next month.
I feel it is only a matter of time before Kenzie will win a
CBVA event. She could very well do it during the 2007 beach
season. I highly recommend her for any volleyball format
(indoors or outdoors) that she may pursue.
Sincerely,
Stu Waite

Kenzie,
Well, in my opinion....
"Kenzie is not only a talented player, but a smart one as
well. Her advances in the game have been driven by her own
desire to be the best player she can be. Kenzie's talents
and passion for the volleyball will easily take her to the
next level of the game beyond high school."

I have had the privilege of working
with Kenzie Aries over the past year and I am so impressed
with how hard she has worked to get where she is today and
where she wants to be in the future. She is a very
talented and strong setter with the full
package: she can pass, hit, dig, and she can set the
ball from anywhere on the court.
I know Kenzie will succeed in
everything she puts her mind to and will help any program go
to the next level. She is a very driven, focused
women who knows what it takes to be at the top. I am
proud of you. |

Incredible work ethic, powerful,
coachable, perfectionist, leader, dominating player,
works
hard at every aspect of the game, and has passion for
volleyball.
I have seen Kenzie grow over the last five years. She works
hard in any situation and puts 100 % effort into doing what
is asked by the coach. Kenzie will do whatever is asked of
her.

As a setter, I have had many people tell me
that I have:
"A high volleyball IQ." I love the game. I
watch my own video and college games over and over.
"Very smart setter." I love to read the
middles and get them leaning the wrong direction.
"Probably the strongest setter in the
county." I hold the 70 year old, all-time school all-time record for
shot-put... I set it as a sophomore.
"Hustles all the time. Even during
practice." My high school coach loves hustle, and he tells me I
hustle too much.
"I can't believe she is just a junior." Many
coaches thought I was a senior this past season.
